Learning Feels Like Play

In our classroom, every activity has a purpose. Whether we're squishing shaving cream, building with blocks, or dancing to the alphabet song — children are developing fine motor skills, creativity, and a love of learning.

Renowned psychologist Jean Piaget said it best: "Play is the work of childhood." We take that seriously — and have a lot of fun doing it!

Real-World Learning

Field trips are one of the highlights of the school year! They give children a chance to connect what they've learned in class to the real world — sparking curiosity, wonder, and lasting memories.

Each year we take 2 field trips as a class, making the most of our tight-knit group of 8 students. Small group = big adventures! 🌟

Passionate About Early Childhood

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood & Special Education from BYU-Idaho, along with a current teaching certificate. I've taught preschool for 5 years out of my home and absolutely love it!

As a mom of 4, I know firsthand how important it is to build strong foundations early. My philosophy? "A child's work is a child's play!" Learning should always be fun.

My experience includes work with Idaho Dept. of Health & Welfare's Infant & Toddler Program, Journeys in Rigby, Title 1 reading programs, and more. I'm also CPR certified.
